Common Conditions Service

What Is The Common Conditions Service?

Price’s Medical Hall Pharmacy is now offering the Common Conditions Service at 26 Clare Street Dublin 2.

This service allows pharmacists to offer professional healthcare advice and treatment to patients, including prescribed medications if appropriate, for 8 specific common conditions.

Under this service, our trained pharmacists can assess your symptoms, decide whether the service is safe and suitable for you, prescribe prescription-only medication where clinically appropriate, provide self-care advice, or refer you to your GP or hospital if further care is needed.

It is delivered under nationally approved HSE clinical protocols through a private consultation with our Pharmacists.

THESE COMMON CONDITIONS INCLUDE:

Allergic rhinitis (2 years and over) and allergic conjunctivitis (2 years and over)

Cold sores (1 month and over)

Infective Conjunctivitis (6 months and over)

Impetigo (2 months and older)

Oral thrush (1 month and older)

Shingles (18 years and over)

Uncomplicated urinary tract infection (UTI) in women (16-64 years)

Vulvovaginal thrush (16-60 years)

If you are not included in one of these groups you can still visit Price’s Medical Hall Pharmacy and ask our Pharmacists for advice.
